Norwegian Electro-optics MeetingThe traditional Norwegian Electro-Optics Meeting will take place on May 22 to 24 this year, at Oscarsborg in the Oslo fjord. Save the date! The Norwegian Electro-Optics Meeting is the main Norwegian forum for scientific and technical optics, bringing together basic research, innovation, and industry applications. The presentations will include invited talks by leading international scientists, as well as presentations from researchers, graduate students, and Norwegian companies. The meeting series is organized by the Optics Group of the Norwegian Physical Society. Oscarsborg is a fortress on an island in the Oslo fjord, now being operated as a hotel and a museum. We can promise an interesting conference with opportunities to make new contacts and meet old friends, in a beautiful spring setting on the fjord. This website is still under construction and more information will be added shortly. Information on registration will be sent to the meeting mailing list and posted on this page in early March. The update will also include information about travel grants for students and a call for nominations to Tycho Jæger's Prize in Electro-optics 2024. At this time we are also soliciting sponsorship from companies and institutions with an interest in supporting the electro-optics community in Norway. See the sponsorship page.
